13 Classes of Chrysanthemums
The National Chrysanthemum Society currently recognizes 13 different chrysanthemum forms. Prior to1969, there were about 38 different classes which made judging quite difficult.

Class 1: Irregular Incurve (Flor Grande)

Class 3: Regular Incurve (Derek Bircumshaw)

Class 5: Intermediate Incurve (Escapade)

​Class 7: Single/Semi-Double (Fire Island)

Class 9: Spoon (Alabama)

Class 11: Spider (Chesapeake)

Class 13: Exotic (Zisterer’s Ovation)

Class 2: Reflex

Class 4: Decorative (Peacock)

Class 6: Pompon
(Feeling Green)

Class 8: Anemone
(Purple Light)

Class 10: Quill (Shamrock)

Class 12: Brush/Thistle (Wisp of Pink)
